I arrived early and first out of my pack of feminine beings. Ordering a tall coffee and anxiously awaiting to enter the dim antiqued room inside this century old venue. The rendezvous is an alcohol est. and restaurant in Belle Town and if you continue to the backside of the bar, a door on the left will lead you into the eerie yet classy location for Jewel Box theatre. This is where Seattle's Faye the tattooed psychic houses her monthly enlightenment and turn of the century air" Spiritus". The scent of Rosemary and candles tantalize and only add to the ambiance of what is to occur. Hands of Kali welcome the night with dark Middle Eastern dances and movements…Jewel Box was filled to maximum capacity when she entered and introduced herself as "Faye". Explaining why she was here and what we could be looking forward to experiencing. Which would include spontaneity, and possible messages from "Spirit". I would guess that most attendees secretly want to be the one that hears from a relative or pal that has passed on. She approached some tables surrounding ours yet passed by. Then she stated that someone had a very strong grandmother presence and positioned her body in our direction. "Yes" I knew Grandma Esty would come through tonight even before I entered the building, I feel her with me at all times. She has kept me going and taught me a lot of what I use today in my art & in motherhood. Continuing, to my grandmother was with her son, (my uncle died in a plane crash when I was 7 yrs old and my grandmother was devastated!), she was clapping her hands that Faye could hear her, (another habit of my grandmother when things were going her way), these were two things that I have never even mentioned to many. Faye then said my son is very intuitive and may even make a career in this field. My daughter may have a tenancy to "Run away with the circus", and that my husband means well when we disagree. I know some of you skeptics out there are rolling your eyes, but how could my grandmother and her known habits to me be wrong? She could have been a quiet lady with only a daughter? But, of course she wouldn't stop talking Faye had to even ask her to slow down and actually stop so that she could move on to the next segment. I have now become acquainted and friends with Faye.
